CARE & MAINTENANCE
MAINTENANCE
(Applies to tabletops with ceramic surface, veneer edge and MDF core)
The Verona table combines an exclusive ceramic top with an elegant veneer edge, adding warmth and a natural touch to the overall design. This combination of materials makes the table durable and easy to maintain, but to preserve its appearance, we recommend the following:
Daily cleaning
Wipe the tabletop with a soft cloth wrung out in lukewarm water.
If needed, use a mild detergent.
Avoid harsh cleaning agents, abrasive sponges and strong chemicals. Although the ceramic surface is highly resistant in everyday use, gentle cleaning is recommended to preserve the table’s appearance and protect the veneer edge.
Ceramic surface
The ceramic top is robust, hard-wearing and highly resistant in daily use.
Maintenance
No oil treatment or additional aftercare is required.
Clean with a soft cloth wrung out in lukewarm water, using a mild detergent if necessary.
Important
Always wipe up spills promptly, especially around the edge.
Although ceramic is heat-resistant, we still recommend using trivets or heat protection under very hot items to protect the overall construction of the table.
Veneer edge
The veneer edge is an important part of the table’s exclusive look and adds warmth and character.
Maintenance
Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth.
Always wipe dry afterwards to prevent moisture from penetrating the edge.
Important
Avoid prolonged contact with water or liquids around the table edge.
Do not use all-purpose cleaners, alcohol-based cleaners or degreasing products on the veneer edge, as these may affect the finish.
General care
Avoid exposing the table to high humidity or major fluctuations in indoor climate.
Do not place the table close to strong heat sources such as radiators or wood-burning stoves.
Although the ceramic surface is very strong, hard impacts to edges and corners should be avoided, as these may damage both the ceramic and the edge finish.
