At Bodahl Møbler, we take responsibility – for people, the environment, and ethical conduct. As a B2B furniture company in a resource-intensive industry, we work to reduce our climate footprint and strengthen ethical and social responsibility throughout the value chain.
Environment and Climate
We continuously focus on minimizing our environmental impact – both in our products and our daily operations. For example, we have:
- Optimized steel constructions to reduce CO₂ during transport
- Introduced water-based lacquer in production
- Established a system for repair instead of disposal
- Reduced air freight and implemented smarter packaging solutions
We regularly measure our CO₂ emissions (Scope 1 and 2) and work actively to reduce them.
Social Responsibility
Social responsibility is just as important as environmental impact. Our ESG Policy and Code of Conduct set clear standards for working conditions, safety, non-discrimination, working hours, wages, and employee involvement – both internally and among our suppliers. We carry out regular supplier visits and engage in dialogue to ensure responsible practices across the supply chain.
